Join the Ensemble!
All members of the San Diego Community are welcome to join the group as a musical and social outlet. Our membership is diverse and as a program of The Center we welcome all musicians whether gay, straight, lesbian, bisexual or transgender. All members must be over 18 years of age.
Being a Wind Ensemble, we try to keep our numbers down to one player per part, with doubles on Clarinets and Flutes. There are no auditions, however the director reserves the right to limit who may perform at specific concerts depending on instrumentation or musical abilities.
We have openings for the 
following instrumentalists:
Bass (Tuba)
Timpani/mallet percussionist (1)
We also would like to hear from the following on an as-needed basis:
Piano
Harp
Trumpet (sub)
These positions require regular attendance on Monday rehearsal nights to be considered.
Voluntary Fees
We request a monthly donation of $10.00 per musician to cover expenses, including renting our rehearsal hall and storage shed and buying music. This donation is strictly voluntary and will in no way affect an individuals opportunity to rehearse or perform with the ensemble.
Rehearsal Schedule
We rehearse on Monday nights,
7 to 9:30pm in the recital hall of the United Church of Christ in Mission Hills, 4070 Jackdaw Street, San Diego 92103.
