Join the Ensemble!

​​​All wind and percussion musicians in the San Diego community are welcome to join the group as a musical and social outlet. However, as a wind ensemble, we keep a limited instrumentation and may not have immediate openings in the ensemble. There are no auditions, but we do ask our members to be comfortable playing music at an advanced level. Our membership is diverse and we welcome all musicians whether gay, straight, lesbian, bisexual or transgender. All members must be at least 18 years of age.

Members are also expected to help in other ways as they are able and as best suits their talents. This may include, among other things:

 

• Set up/tear down at concerts.

• Help with making the tabletop decorations.

• Load and unload band equipment before and/or after concerts.

• Rent and drive U-Haul to and from concerts.

• Grant application writer.

• Produce Youtube videos from recorded audio and video files.

• Serve on a band committee as new assignments become available.
